Peter Craighead - Chief Executive
Peter has qualifications in nursing, midwifery and health administration. Before being appointed to Latrobe Regional Hospital, he was CEO at health services in Sale and Yarram.
Peter holds an executive position with the Gippsland Health Alliance. He has experience in planning for the future health needs of Australians and has consulted for the Commonwealth Government and state governments. He has a strong interest in the viability and sustainability of rural health services.
Don McRae - Chief Operating Officer / Chief Nurse
Don has extensive experience in public hospitals in regional and metropolitan areas of Victoria and has worked as Director of Clinical Services at Wimmera Health Care Group for 12 years.
Don is a registered nurse and midwife and has a Bachelor of Applied Science, Graduate Diploma in Critical Care Nursing, Professional Certificate in Health Systems Management and holds a Master of Health Management from the University of New England. He is an Associate Fellow of the Australian College of Health Service Management and sits on the Victorian Care of the Older Persons Clinical Network.
Cayte Hoppner - Executive Director Mental Health / Chief Mental Health Nurse
Cayte is a credentialed mental health nurse and an endorsed mental health nurse practitioner.
She has worked in various clinical and management positions across Queensland, South Australia and Victoria. Cayte holds a Graduate Diploma in Psychiatric Nursing, a Graduate Diploma in Occupational Health, an Advanced Certificate in Pharmacology, a Master of Nursing and a Master of Business Administration.
Cayte is a member of the Australian College of Nurse Practitioners, Australian College of Nursing, Australasian College of Health Service Management, Australian Institute of Company Directors and Australian College of Mental Health Nurses.
Mark Wilkins - Executive Director People and Culture
Mark has formal qualifications in Human Resources Management and is an active member of the Australian Human Resources Institute.
Mark was a Human Resources professional for almost 30 years in the power industry at ENGIE Hazelwood. He was also a Senior Human Resources Business Partner at Hazelwood Power Station. Mark played a prominent human resources role during the closure of the Hazelwood business and has extensive experience in change management throughout an organisation.
He has a passion for people management and improving organisational culture and engagement and brings a wealth of human resources management experience to LRH.
