Our new Birth Reflection and Engagement Service provides a safe, supportive space for women and their families to talk about their pregnancy and birth experience. Whether your birth was positive, unexpected, or challenging, this service offers the opportunity to ask questions, gain a better understanding of what happened, and feel heard.

Appointments are tailored to your individual needs and may include a discussion with our experienced Birth Reflection and Engagement Midwife or, where appropriate, a review of your care with an Obstetrician.

Women can use the service during pregnancy or after birth. It is accessible through self-referral, referral from their healthcare team or when completing the optional ‘Birth Experience Survey’ available to all women birthing at LRH.
